THE ORMEN BLACK SABBATH PAGE

Black Sabbath is one of the greatest metal bands of all time. They were also one of the first metal bands. They formed in Birmingham in 1968 under the name Earth. Tony Iommi played guitar, Geezer Butler played bass, Ozzy Osbourne sang, and Bill Ward played drums. In 1969 they changed their name to Black Sabbath and recorded their first album simply titled "Black Sabbath". Then in 1970 they released their second album "Paranoid" which became a big hit in the US. They went on to produce great albums like "Master of Reality", "Vol. 4", and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" throughout the 70's. After the release of "Never Say Die" in 1978, Ozzy left to start a solo career. His replacement was Ronnie James Dio. He sang on 1980's "Heaven and Hell" and 1981's "Mob Rules". He left soon after to also start his own band. Sabbath since then went through numerous member changes and haven't been making good songs like they used to. Tony Iommi is the only original member. They are now supposed to do a reunion with all original members except Bill Ward.
